My Tree, My Life: Girls Leading the Fight Against Climate Injustice
Floods and climate injustices continue to hit communities worldwide, but girls are 14 times more affected than boys. They face disrupted education, increased risks of violence, and health challenges when disasters strike.
In response, more than 100 girls have risen as champions of change through the campaign “My Tree, My Life.” They are planting trees, restoring green cover, and reminding communities that protecting the environment is protecting our future.
Girls and women are also stepping into decision-making spaces, ensuring that their voices guide smart environmental solutions. From re-afforestation to climate action dialogues, they are proving that sustainable change is only possible when everyone is included.
These young champions are not just planting trees; they are planting hope, resilience, and sustainability. Their message is clear: Protecting the environment today means securing life for future generations.
Together, with girls at the center, we can create a smarter, greener, and safer environment for all.
